Privacy policy

Who this policy covers

This policy is for the website published by Notepad++ Guide. It is not the privacy policy of the Notepad++ project. When you leave for notepad-plus-plus.org or another external site, that site's own policy applies.

Accounts, cookies, and analytics

These pages do not ask you to create an account. The site does not run an advertising network, a tag manager, or a third-party analytics script. It does not set a cookie to remember your language. English and Chinese are separate URLs.

Server logs

The company that hosts the static files may keep ordinary connection logs, such as IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. Notepad++ Guide does not add a tracker on top of those logs. Ask the host if you need the retention period for a deployed copy.

Downloads and forms

Download links leave this site. The download buttons start the 8.9.8.1 64-bit installer on GitHub. There is no upload form and no payment form. If a public email address is added later, a message you send is processed only to answer that message.
